So what has been happening?

When I last updated exams were just about to begin. I was not looking forward to them. So how did they go? Not so good. I did not finish my English, Visual Communication and Design, or Legal Studies exam. It was more of a time limit thing then a difficult thing though. I finished my Business Management exam early and did pretty well in it. My Multimedia exam was aced, pity I did not hand the course work in on time. So that mark was worth nothing towards my ENTER. My ENTER was disappointing.
Despite not going so well in the Exams, I will be going to University next year. I am studying for a BA Internet Studies from Curtin University of Technology. I will be studying via the distance education study mode offered through Open Universities Australia, which should give me more control over my course. Perhaps I can accelerate and finish early. I guess that depends on how I find the work. I am determined not to let myself fall behind again. I ask if anyone close to me is reading this, to slap me if I do. I am looking forward to it and the course begins March 3rd. I should have my degree no later than the end of Study Period 4 2010. I hope that I am able to finish it earlier though.
I have had spare time since November 17th 2007 when my last exam finished. I have been using that time to work on the social networking site I began earlier in 2007. It’s coming along slowly, and could use with a User Interface redesign to improve aesthetics and usability but otherwise it’s turning out fine.
I graduated from Secondary College on the 18th of December; the graduation ceremony was pure boredom. Mostly because of the rehearsal. The photos turned out well though. The highlight was being able to see my wonderful friends. I miss them.
Christmas was much like graduation, boredom. I got a DVD Burner, Beach towel, Lolly snakes, Miniature torch, Chocolates, and $20. I was hoping for a WACOM Bamboo but Dad refused to purchase one for me. Oh well, its good to be able to burn CD’s again, and I can finally watch a DVD without fiddling with the AV plugs unless I have the GameCube plugged in place of the computer. We spent Christmas Day at home. At nighttime, we went to Nana’s house to see the family.
New Years again was pure boredom. I just had a quiet night in, watched the countdown and fireworks, and then retired to MySpace to comment a few of my friends.
It’s now the second day of the New Year, and I’m getting ready to go down to Centrelink to sort out my Youth Allowance payments in regards to University. The form they sent out is difficult to fill out considering the non-traditional nature of my course.
